You will build and maintain high-throughput, scalable services with sub-second response times.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain API services using Node.js and Express.
• Design systems that meet project objectives in a cost-effective manner.
• Debug complex issues including memory leaks and asynchronous programming quirks.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues across multiple vendors and interfaces.
• Collaborate with management to define and drive technical strategy.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional JavaScript development experience.
• Deep understanding of Node.js asynchronous runtime, callbacks, and closures.
• Expertise in building REST APIs and consuming web services using JSON.
• Experience with NoSQL databases, MongoDB, or Redis.
• Proficiency with SQL queries and SQLite.
• Strong background in Java (J2EE) or .NET.
• Experience working through the entire stack from user interface to systems level.
• Knowledge of accessibility and security compliance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java 1.8.
