Description

You will build and maintain production-grade software systems using Java within a large-scale enterprise environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement highly scalable, high-throughput web services and backend systems.
• Develop secure RESTful web services and microservices architectures.
• Conduct in-depth code reviews and technical analysis to ensure security and quality.
• Manage deployment through CI/CD pipelines including build, test, and deployment automation.
• Mentor junior developers and facilitate knowledge transfer across the team.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software development experience building production systems.
• 8+ years of expertise in Java programming and Spring Boot.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL, key-value datastores, and document stores.
• 5+ years of experience designing secure RESTful web services and managing complex application security requirements.
• 5+ years of experience with code reviews and in-depth code analysis.
• 5+ years of experience with Git and Bitbucket.
• 4+ years of experience completing system documentation.
• 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices design.
• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with modern web technologies including JavaScript, Node.js, React.js, Redux, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with NoSQL datastores such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
• Experience with MuleSoft API development.
