Description

You will design and implement scalable software applications within a scrum team environment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual data models, data flows, entity relationships, and security specifications.
• Create and execute test plans based on design specifications to ensure high-quality software.
• Support technical design decisions through prototyping and validation of new concepts.
• Identify and raise technical, security, delivery, and performance risks to the team.
• Coordinate with offshore teams to manage peer reviews, documentation, and installations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of practical experience in Java/J2EE and Spring.
• Extensive experience with Kafka, Redis, Cassandra, and EJB.
• Proficiency with Linux environments.
• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies including Azure, OpenShift, and AWS.
• 5+ years of experience with full stack technologies including React or Angular and Spring Boot.
• Experience producing and consuming REST APIs.
• 3-10 years of experience designing and implementing large-scale applications.
• Strong understanding of software development patterns and object-oriented design principles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and Snowflake development.
• Practical experience with end-to-end DevOps CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Maven, GitLab, or SonarQube.
• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
