Description

You will lead development of high-performance Java decision processing applications for a fraud management platform processing billions of transactions monthly.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable Java/JEE solutions using Spring Boot and REST APIs.
• Lead technical planning, architecture decisions, and PoCs for vendor and open-source integrations.
• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and optimize system performance for high-volume messaging.
• Collaborate with architects in Agile SAFe ceremonies to define and deliver technical requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Java/JEE and Spring Boot.
• Strong proficiency in Oracle Database, PL/SQL, and advanced SQL scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
• Practical knowledge of messaging systems such as IBM MQ and JMS.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies including Cloud Foundry and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Kafka, Splunk, or Dynatrace for monitoring and event processing.
• Ability to work effectively in a distributed, matrix-based team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Business Rules Execution Systems like IBM ODM.
• Familiarity with Agile/SAFe methodologies and Test Driven Development.
