Description

Lead Java and JavaScript application development in an e-commerce environment. Own the full lifecycle from design to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable APIs and microservices using clean code principles.
• Optimize database queries for DynamoDB and relational SQL databases.
• Implement comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure high code quality.
• Build and maintain DevOps pipelines, including CloudFormation templates.
• Apply design patterns and Agile methodologies to solve complex technical challenges.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Java and JavaScript application development.
• Expertise in Core Java, including multi-threading, data structures, and lambdas.
• Deep knowledge of the Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with JUnit, Cucumber, and JBehave.
• Proficiency with AWS services: EC2, Fargate, SNS, SQS, API Gateway, Lambda, Auto Scaling, S3, and Kinesis.
• Experience with containerization and AWS cloud platform features.
• Strong background in Agile or SCRUM methodologies.
• Ability to collaborate closely with DevOps teams for pipeline construction.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DynamoDB and SQL database optimization.
