Description

Design and implement scalable web applications using Java/J2EE technologies, ensuring high-quality integrations between third-party applications and internal systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and construct technical solutions for complex business problems.
• Analyze requirements to determine development strategies and present technical designs with pros and cons.
• Provide senior-level technical oversight on multiple IT projects.
• Troubleshoot website issues to identify root causes and propose fixes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams as a liaison between business stakeholders and infrastructure teams.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of total IT experience.
• 5+ years with Java/J2EE, Hibernate, Spring, JPA, and Groovy.
• 3+ years with Spring MVC, Spring Batch, and Spring Data.
• 3+ years with REST and SOAP web services (client and server code).
• 3+ years with DevOps, CI/CD, GIT, and Jenkins.
• 2+ years with JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS or NextJS.
• 2+ years with HTML, CSS, and JSON.
• 2+ years with Oracle RDBMS and SQL.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Azure development, Drupal, WordPress, or Agile methodology experience.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance industry domain, web application architecture, and website accessibility.
