Description

You will lead technology and architecture upgrades to ensure application stability and develop Java applications using modern frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java applications utilizing Angular, Struts 2, JPA, Hibernate, XML, RESTful web services, and Maven.
• Maintain and update CI/CD pipelines and utilize GitLab and Jenkins for continuous integration.
• Research and develop prototypes for major initiatives and new frameworks.
• Provide technical support, mentorship, and guidance to project teams.
• Collaborate with customers and users to analyze and design technical solutions based on business requirements.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience leveraging application frameworks.
• 5+ years of experience with modern UI frameworks and database development.
• 5+ years of experience maintaining application servers and working in Cloud Server environments.
• 5+ years of experience serving as a Lead Architect for applications or project teams.
• Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Struts 2/Tiles, Servlets/JSP, and JPA 2/Hibernate.
• Experience with Git source control, CI/CD pipelines, and container-based application development, debugging, and orchestration.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful web services and relational/object-oriented database designs.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Maven.
• Bachelor’s Degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle PL/SQL, Apache Tomcat, and MS Azure.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Agile (Scrum, XP, Kanban), and stateless applications.
• Proficiency in Bash and Linux/UNIX shell environments.
