Description

You will design and deliver microservices using Java and Node.js, owning the full software lifecycle from development to deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable microservices using Java (Spring Boot/Cloud) and Node.js.
• Design RESTful APIs and implement event-driven architectures with Apache Kafka.
• Manage containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD for automated testing and delivery.
• Monitor system health and troubleshoot distributed issues using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/Splunk.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3-5+ years focused on creating microservices.
• Strong proficiency in Java SE/EE, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
• Extensive Node.js experience in a senior capacity.
• Experience with RESTful services, JSON/XML, and API versioning.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for streaming and async communication.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for microservice deployment.
• Knowledge of security standards (OAuth2, JWT, TLS).
