Description

You will own the administration, customization, and integration of enterprise Jira environments. This role focuses on platform stability, advanced scripting, and seamless connectivity with CI/CD pipelines.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage Jira Software and Service Management projects, workflows, screens, and permissions.
• Develop custom scripts, automations, and plugins using ScriptRunner, Groovy, and Java.
• Design and maintain integrations between Jira and enterprise applications, including CI/CD platforms.
• Create and optimize JQL queries, dashboards, and reports to support business intelligence needs.
• Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and manage user access and governance policies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Jira administration and engineering.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Jira Software and Jira Service Management configuration.
• Proficiency in ScriptRunner and Groovy development.
• Strong Java development skills for custom extensions and backend logic.
• Experience with Jira Advanced Roadmaps and Elements Connect solutions.
• Strong command of JQL (Jira Query Language) for complex reporting.
• Experience implementing Jira integrations and CI/CD connectivity.
• Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing custom Jira plugins and extensions.
• Expertise with REST APIs and large-scale enterprise system integrations.
• Strong performance tuning and platform optimization capabilities.
