Description

Lead the design and implementation of high-throughput streaming systems using Apache Kafka and Java.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable microservices using Spring Boot and Java.
• Implement event-driven architectures with Kafka Streams, Confluent Platform, and Schema Registry.
• Secure APIs and services using Spring Security and REST standards.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Maven, and OpenShift.
• Maintain US Public Trust Clearance.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of Java/J2EE development experience.
• Deep expertise in Apache Kafka, Confluent Platform, and Kafka Streams.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring Security, and REST APIs.
• Experience with Microservices architecture.
• Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Git/Bitbucket, Maven, Nexus.
• Familiarity with Jira and Agile methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• AWS or other cloud platform experience.
• Experience with OpenShift containerization.
