Description

You will design and develop enterprise API backends and event-driven integrations using Kafka and Spring Boot microservices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and support Kafka services on Confluent Cloud, including topic and partition management.
• Design and develop enterprise API backends with Spring Boot Java microservices and Kafka-based event integration solutions.
• Utilize the Kafka Connect framework to build and manage data pipelines.
• Support the migration and modernization of legacy integrations.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, testing, deployment, and production support alongside architects and DevOps engineers.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with Confluent Kafka and Java Spring Boot microservices.
• Strong background in integration development with Agile and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Event-Driven Architecture and microservices patterns.
• Proficiency in Java and Python.
• Familiarity with GCP and Kubernetes/GKE.
• Experience with BitBucket, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, and UAT support.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP connectors and Apigee.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
