Description

You will lead the design, security, and management of large-scale Kubernetes environments on the cloud.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and secure Kubernetes clusters at scale.
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform, GitOps, and shell scripting.
• Manage container traffic using tools like Nginx and Istio.
• Implement and manage messaging and data streaming pipelines.
• Monitor system health and performance using observability tools.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of industry experience with a focus on Kubernetes.
• 5+ years of experience managing Kubernetes on Azure or other cloud platforms.
• Expertise in Linux and infrastructure automation via Terraform and Docker Compose.
• 3+ years of experience with Kafka or event streaming technologies.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or PowerShell for DevOps automation.
• Experience with GitOps workflows and shell scripting.
• Hands-on knowledge of container traffic management including Nginx or Istio.
• Experience with monitoring stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, AppDynamics, or Dynatrace.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes distributions like Rancher or OpenShift.

Preferred Skills

• Architect-level cloud certifications.
• CKAD, CKA, or CKS certifications.
