Description

You will lead test system development on National Instruments platforms for new product introductions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full test system lifecycle from concept and architecture through manufacturing introduction and service.
• Act as technical SME to debug and enhance test software and firmware on production and service testers.
• Design product interface fixtures and identify hardware required to fulfill test requirements.
• Manage regulatory compliance through rigorous Qualification and Validation processes.
• Develop modular, reusable software for interaction with microcontrollers, test equipment, and databases.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in test system development.
• Expertise in LabVIEW and National Instruments (NI) platforms.
• Proficiency with communication protocols: I2C, SPI, RS232, RS422, RS485, USB, and UART.
• Experience with PCBAs and electronic system testing, including reading schematics and layouts.
• Ability to apply Agile and Lean software development methodologies.
• Experience with documentation, specifications, change control, and software validation.
• Competency in analyzing trade-offs between performance, manufacturability, and cost.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.
