Description

Lead test system development on National Instruments platforms for new product introductions.

You will own the full test system lifecycle, from concept and architecture through manufacturing introduction and service. As the technical SME, you debug and enhance test software and firmware on production and service testers. You design product interface fixtures and identify hardware to meet test requirements. You manage regulatory compliance through rigorous Qualification and Validation processes. You develop modular, reusable software to interact with microcontrollers, test equipment, and databases.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full test system lifecycle from concept to manufacturing introduction.
• Debug and enhance test software and firmware on production and service testers.
• Design product interface fixtures and select hardware for test requirements.
• Manage regulatory compliance through Qualification and Validation processes.
• Develop modular software for microcontroller and equipment interaction.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in test system development.
• Expertise in LabVIEW and National Instruments (NI) platforms.
• Proficiency with I2C, SPI, RS232, RS422, RS485, USB, and UART protocols.
• Experience with PCBAs and electronic system testing, including schematics and layouts.
• Ability to apply Agile and Lean software development methodologies.
• Experience with documentation, specifications, change control, and software validation.
• Competency in analyzing trade-offs between performance, manufacturability, and cost.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.
