Lead a team of data scientists to deliver production-level machine learning solutions and drive business outcomes through analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead, hire, and mentor a team of data scientists, setting technical goals and providing project oversight.
• Develop and deploy machine learning algorithms, predictive models, and statistical analyses in cloud environments.
• Collaborate with data engineering to build and optimize data pipelines for processing and analysis.
• Communicate complex technical concepts and strategic data opportunities to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with business objectives and data privacy compliance.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data science with a proven track record of delivering production-level solutions.
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, cleaning, and analysis.
• Expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and predictive modeling.
• Experience deploying and managing models using Databricks or Cloudera.
• Proven experience in team leadership, including guidance, feedback, and project oversight.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify strategic opportunities for data leverage.
• Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with unstructured data using NLP or computer vision techniques.
• Knowledge of deep learning or reinforcement learning.
• Domain expertise in semiconductor or material science.
