Description

You will lead the development of server-side systems and end-to-end cloud services.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop server-side software using Java and Web APIs with distributed caching.
• Own all SDLC phases including development, code reviews, peer testing, and requirements validation.
• Design and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases for performance.
• Review, debug, and diagnose existing application code across all tiers.
• Deliver software within Agile/Scrum team environments.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in Java and Web API development.
• Hands-on experience with AWS for end-to-end cloud services.
• Proficiency with messaging and full-text search: ActiveMQ, SQS, Hazelcast, or Elasticsearch.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database design and optimization.
• Deep understanding of Object Oriented Analysis, design concepts, and design patterns.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the financial domain.
• Knowledge of Bonds, Asset-backed securities, and Fixed Income Indices.
