Description

Architect and develop complex solutions for PeopleSoft 9.2 Financials, leading technical design, code implementation, and system upgrades.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement custom enhancements, patches, and upgrades for PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, and Assets.
• Lead technical work units, manage code retrofits, and perform root cause analysis for defects across development and production environments.
• Collaborate with business analysts and subject matter experts to translate high-level requirements into robust technical designs and solution architectures.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and code reviews for junior developers while ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and integrate with external systems such as SAP Ariba and Kafka.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of combined software engineering experience, with 5+ years focused on PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 design and hands-on development.
• 4+ years of senior or lead developer experience, including guiding junior teams and managing technical work direction.
• Deep expertise in PeopleSoft General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, and Assets modules.
• Proficiency in PeopleTools 8.6X or higher, including experience with application and PeopleTools patching/upgrades.
• Strong background in root cause analysis, data/process analysis, and authoring technical documentation.
• Experience with web service integration and performance tuning for PeopleSoft applications.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Kafka, Kubernetes, and Snowflake.
• Experience integrating with SAP Ariba P2P On Demand applications.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
