Description

You will lead Site Reliability Engineering practices for large-scale systems running on MS SQL and Azure App Services.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Define standards for reliability, performance optimization, and operational automation for MS SQL and Azure App Services.
• Architect and implement highly available, fault-tolerant infrastructure for SQL and Azure App Services workloads.
• Develop observability frameworks covering monitoring, alerting, and logging for SQL and Azure performance.
• Partner with development and data engineering teams to embed reliability into SQL schema design and CI/CD.
• Drive incident management, performing root-cause analysis and implementing systemic remediation for SQL and Azure issues.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in SRE or production engineering supporting large-scale, cloud-based systems.
• Expertise in automation, observability tooling, and distributed systems.
• Proven experience with Azure cloud engineering.
• Strong experience with SQL database technologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience leading reliability initiatives in complex data and application ecosystems.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
