Description

Lead the design and development of scalable microservices platforms using .NET 6 or above.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend platforms and REST-based microservices using ASP.NET and C# for eCommerce systems.
• Translate business requirements into technical integration models and service architectures.
• Lead development teams in implementing platforms while ensuring adherence to coding standards and SOLID principles.
• Collaborate with DevOps to automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling of services in Azure environments.
• Create technical documentation, including architectural diagrams and deployment procedures.

Required Skills

• 10 years of professional software engineering experience with progression to Architect level.
• 6+ years of experience as a Software Architect focusing on APIs and integration layers.
• 5+ years of experience building REST-based APIs using .NET Web API.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Services including Azure SQL, Storage, Cosmos, Redis, or Event Hub.
• Proficiency with Azure Functions, App Services, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of Event Driven Systems and Auth Token consumption (OAuth, SAML, or JWT).
• Experience with ADO.NET, Dapper, T-SQL, and RDBMS/MySQL (indexes, triggers, and stored procedures).
• Expertise in unit testing with xUnit or NUnit, using Moq, AutoFac, NSubstitute, or Fluent Validation.
• Deep understanding of design patterns and SOLID principles.

Preferred Skills

• Relevant certifications in Azure and .NET.
• Experience building and maintaining large-scale microservices in production.
• Knowledge of contract testing, chaos engineering, and observability solutions.
