You will build and deploy data science solutions to address core business problems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, manipulate, and process large datasets using statistical software.
• Apply feature selection algorithms to models predicting outcomes like sales, attrition, and healthcare use.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using tools like DataProc, BigQuery, and Apache Spark.
• Create visualizations (graphs, charts) to convey data analysis results using specialized software.
• Test, validate, and reformulate models to ensure accurate prediction of target outcomes.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data analysis or data science.
• Proficiency in Python, Scala, and SQL.
• Experience with big data ecosystems including Hadoop, Hive, HDFS, and Spark.
• Familiarity with cloud data warehousing like BigQuery and GCS.
• Competency in data processing tools such as Dataflow and Composer.
• Experience using statistical software for data cleaning and manipulation.
• Knowledge of visualization tools like Tableau and Matplotlib.
• Experience with project management tools like Jira and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to travel nationally to set up systems and perform feasibility studies.
