Description

Lead enterprise-level technical operations for RHEL Linux server environments and drive server build automation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of rapid server build processes for Linux servers on VMware.
• Collaborate with automation engineers to define, test, and implement Linux server build automation.
• Manage gold image definition and implementation strategies.
• Design, install, configure, and operate Satellite Server environments.
• Execute automated server provisioning and IaC provisioning tasks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Linux administration.
• Expert-level proficiency with RHEL.
• Hands-on experience managing Linux servers within VMware environments.
• Proficiency with BASH scripting for enterprise-level automation.
• Experience with SUSE Linux.
• Experience with Linux authentication using the SSSD framework.
• Experience managing SAP hosted on Linux NAS and SAN.

Preferred Skills

• RedHat certification.
• Experience with Puppet, Chef, Tivoli Endpoint Manager (TEM), or IP Soft (Dynamic Automation).
