Description

You will manage and maintain core Linux infrastructure environments, ensuring system stability, security, and automation.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Configure, harden, and patch Ubuntu systems to maintain security standards.
• Automate configuration, software deployment, and orchestration using Ansible and Pyinfra.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and their related networking components.
• Implement and monitor backup and disaster recovery solutions, including regular recovery testing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in Linux administration.
• Expertise with Ubuntu configuration and hardening.
• Proficiency with configuration management tools like Ansible and Pyinfra.
• Experience managing Kubernetes environments.
• Knowledge of IP networking, firewalls, and routing (e.g., OPNsense).
• Familiarity with storage systems such as Ceph.
• Experience with authorization management and role-based access control.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with OPNsense firewall management.
• Background in disaster recovery planning and testing.
