Description

You will maintain and engineer the Linux infrastructure supporting core manufacturing services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full Linux infrastructure to ensure 24/7 uptime and optimal performance.
• Monitor server and application metrics, executing corrective actions for stability.
• Implement Linux system and service best practices across the manufacturing floor.
• Perform hardware and software upgrades, maintenance, and detailed inventory management.
• Evaluate security requirements and perform system hardening.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in system engineering and infrastructure maintenance.
• Expertise with CentOS, Ubuntu, and RedHat Linux distributions.
• Proficiency in scripting using Bash, Perl, and Python.
• Experience implementing and troubleshooting Linux encryption and Samba.
• Working knowledge of core Linux services including DHCP, TFTP, DNS, and SSH.
• Experience with Linux patching and dependency resolution.
