Description
You will engineer and support the firm’s strategic order management platform within a globally embedded team.
Responsibilities
- Manage, communicate, and implement infrastructure changes, upgrades, and migrations across low-latency co-location environments.
- Automate infrastructure processes using enterprise and open-source tools to minimize manual effort.
- Perform hands-on analysis of production systems, resolving faults, addressing growth issues, and conducting root cause analysis for critical incidents.
- Support low-latency operations within both large on-premises and public cloud environments running RHEL8/9.
- Resolve production issues in a timely and effective manner under operational pressure.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience with Linux system administration, specifically tuning for low latency and high throughput.
- In-depth experience building co-locations from scratch, covering design through production deployment.
- Proficiency in scripting using Bash and Python.
- Hands-on experience with automation/orchestration tools: Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Salt, or Terraform.
- Experience provisioning and managing infrastructure on public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP) or private clouds (OpenStack, VMware).
- Familiarity with monitoring and instrumentation tools like Prometheus/Grafana or Datadog.
- Strong understanding of low-latency trading environments and order management systems from an infrastructure viewpoint.
- Experience with Active Directory and Kerberos.
