You will build scalable machine learning and statistical solutions to solve complex business problems using large-scale datasets.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and evaluate predictive learning models.
• Establish automated processes for large-scale data analysis, model development, validation, and implementation.
• Research and implement novel machine learning and statistical approaches.
• Extract relevant information from business data to automate and optimize key processes.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience implementing machine learning algorithms using Python.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL, including writing complex queries.
• 2+ years of experience with open-source or commercial Big Data technology stacks (Apache NiFi, Spark, Kafka, HBase, Hadoop/HDFS, Hive, Drill, Pig, etc.).
• 3+ years of experience with document databases such as MongoDB or Accumulo.
• 2+ years of experience with distributed version control systems like Git.
• 1+ years of experience in cloud-based development and delivery.
• Proven ability to work with very large datasets and non-standard machine learning data like sparse matrices or class imbalances.
• Experience developing Python packages and working within agile development practices.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Familiarity with deep learning and low-level machine learning libraries.
• Experience using predictive analytics in a business or healthcare setting.
