Description

You will bridge legacy mainframe systems with modern RESTful architectures through application design and development.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement applications using software engineering best practices.
• Develop and update REST APIs using the Spring Framework, including Boot, Cloud, Security, and Data.
• Analyze root causes for batch job failures, resolve issues, and document findings for the team.
• Manage source code repositories and deployments using DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Nexus, Docker, SonarQube, and UrbanCode.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior and mid-level developers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in Z/OS Mainframe development including COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, Control-M, and VSAM.
• Strong proficiency in Java and the Spring Framework.
• Experience developing RESTful services using JSON, XML, and SOAP.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Proficiency with Git for version control.
• Experience with AWS cloud environments.
• Ability to perform API testing using Swagger UI and Ready API.
• Skill in log analysis and resolution using Splunk and Dynatrace.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Angular.
• Knowledge of service-oriented architectures (SOA), security, and business process management.
