Description

Develop and implement complex banking application solutions to improve operational efficiency. You will own the end-to-end development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to implementation.

Responsibilities

• Design and document architectures for complex banking applications while adhering to specific design constraints.
• Write secure, high-quality code that integrates with high-efficiency subsystems.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate with product teams to break down complex requirements into actionable designs.
• Proactively challenge conventional approaches to improve system performance and decision-making capabilities.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on coding and development experience.
• Expertise in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and DB2.
• Extensive experience with CICS programming, including CICS screen programming.
• Proficiency with version control systems.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to team members and clients.

Preferred Skills

• Experience coding in MQ Series and IMS DB.
• Background working with banking compliance and regulatory platforms.
