Description

You will develop, maintain, and remediate mainframe software applications based on business requirements.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Code and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL and JCL.
• Oversee testing, debugging, and the development of software fixes.
• Research and resolve complex software issues through impact analysis.
• Perform impact analysis and remediation for SFTP and MQ client version changes.
• Standardize quality assurance procedures and make independent technical decisions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in application programming or systems analysis.
• Proficiency in COBOL and JCL.
• Experience with DB2.
• Hands-on experience with IBM MQ 9.1 and IBM MQFT.
• Proven ability to perform impact analysis and remediation for mainframe applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
