Description

You will manage software development, maintenance, and upgrades for enterprise financial systems on z/OS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform system enhancements, maintenance, and upgrades for financial applications.
• Provide break/fix support and repair bugs in production environments.
• Execute quality assurance, testing, and lead testing teams.
• Develop and maintain documentation for coding changes and resolutions.
• Coach support personnel on system functions and knowledge transfer.

Required Skills

• Senior-level COBOL programming with experience upgrading versions and managing compiler changes.
• Proficiency in JAVA programming on the mainframe.
• Experience with REXX development on the mainframe.
• Proficiency with VSAM data maintenance and manipulation using IDCAMS.
• Experience with Sort, SyncSort, and ICETOOL utilities.
• Knowledge of DB2 for z/OS, including schema changes and database project input.
• Experience working within CICS environments for maintenance and updates.
• Ability to use Easytrieve reporting software to manipulate data connecting to DB2 and PSDs.
• Experience using Panvalet for version control.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related area.
