Description

You will own the maintenance, support, and development of mainframe applications across z/OS environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, IMS DB/DC, and VSAM applications.
• Support mainframe application operations and troubleshoot production issues.
• Schedule and manage batch jobs using CA7 and BMC Control-M schedulers.
• Manage source code and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Jenkins.
• Collaborate on DevOps initiatives to improve deployment efficiency.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on mainframe development experience.
• 5+ years of mainframe application support experience.
• Deep expertise in z/OS, TSO, ISPF, JCL, COBOL, CICS, DB2, IMS DB/DC, and VSAM.
• Proficiency with file utilities such as File-AID or File-Manager.
• Experience with IDZ (IBM Developer for z/OS) and GitHub.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and Jenkins automation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MQ, WAS, SPUFI, XPEDITER, REXX, and CLIST.
• Familiarity with SoapUI and Windows Server environments.
