Description

You will design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications within a large corporate environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test applications to ensure operational stability.
• Debug and maintain code across the full Software Development Life Cycle.
• Implement agile methodologies including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security protocols.
• Manage code deployments using Changeman or Endevor.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe application development.
• Hands-on expertise with IBM-Z/OS COBOL and CICS.
• Proficiency in IMS DB/DC, DB2, and VSAM.
• Experience writing and managing JCL and CA7.
• Working knowledge of IBM WebSphere MQ messaging solutions.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience creating APIs using z/OS Connect and Kafka integration.
• Knowledge of AWS, cloud technologies, or Java.
