Description

Maintain and optimize mainframe applications and data structures within an enterprise environment.

You will own the full lifecycle of batch and online processing systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain code using COBOL and JCL.
• Manage database interactions and file handling using DB2 and VSAM.
• Execute and schedule batch processes using Control-M.
• Utilize IBM utilities and ChangeMan for software lifecycle management and data manipulation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe programming.
• Proficiency in COBOL and JCL.
• Experience with CICS.
• Strong knowledge of DB2 and VSAM.
• Hands-on experience with ChangeMan.
• Experience using Control-M for job scheduling.
• Competency with IBM utilities including IEBGENER, IDCAMS, and ICETOOL.
• Proficiency with tools such as QMF, SPUFI, and File Manager.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.
