Description

Lead strategic procurement and sourcing execution across multiple product platforms, partnering with engineering to define sourcing plans and ensure program readiness.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop sourcing plans by collaborating with engineering to identify key commodities and establish source selection timelines.
• Represent the purchasing team at project gate reviews to ensure critical sourcing dates align with product development requirements.
• Support cost book development through program cost commitments and identification of purchasing savings opportunities.
• Oversee program readiness, including managing lead times for sourcing, tooling, and PPAP.
• Mentor and coach Analysts within the team to drive continuous improvement.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in procurement, logistics, supply chain, finance, or operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business administration, industrial engineering, economics, or a related technical field.
• Expertise in SAP and manipulating large, complex data sets to influence business decisions.
• Experience building, implementing, and running various market events.
• Strong business financial knowledge and project management skills.
• Proven ability to present to executive-level stakeholders and cross-functional leadership.
• Experience with Coupa Sourcing.

Preferred Skills

• MBA or advanced degree in Business Administration or Purchasing Management.
• Automotive or manufacturing industry experience.
• Six Sigma Black or Green Belt training.
