Description

Design and implement auto-scripts and customized Java solutions for Maximo. Own the full development lifecycle from unit testing to production release.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and unit test customized Java classes and objects within the Maximo environment.
• Oversee program design, debugging, documentation, and quality assurance reviews.
• Direct and oversee technical personnel during the development lifecycle.
• Manage change control activities and obtain client board approvals prior to production releases.
• Maintain release documentation including Process Description Documents, System Security Plans, and User Manuals.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software development experience customizing Java Classes and Objects in Maximo.
• 5+ years of direct experience working with Maximo.
• IBM Certified Application Development – Maximo Application Platform V3.2.1 (completed within the last 3 years).
• Professional certification as a Java Developer/Programmer.
• Certified Infrastructure Deployment Professional – Maximo Asset Management V7.6 or IBM Certified Advanced Deployment Professional – Maximo Asset Management V7.06.
• Experience configuring and installing interfaces between Maximo and COTS applications.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Maximo mobile solutions and mobile app development for Android or iOS.
• 2+ years of experience with Java class extension in IBM Maximo 7 or later.
• 2+ years of experience creating and editing XML files.
