Description

You will design and support products through individual mechanical engineering contributions and project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop design solutions and create detailed designs using GD&T for plastic, sheet metal, and shafts.
• Build and evaluate prototypes using a hands-on approach.
• Perform tolerance analyses and participate in FMEA reviews.
• Apply formal problem-solving techniques to determine root causes, propose solutions, and validate results.
• Manage project schedules, performance, and cost objectives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Proficiency with NX CAD software.
• Experience with GD&T application for plastic, sheet metal, and shafts.
• Ability to perform tolerance analyses and design documentation.
• Experience with prototype testing and evaluation.
• Skill in performing Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (FMEA).
• Competency in using formal problem-solving and root cause analysis techniques.
