Description

You will build and maintain applications using the Mendix low-code platform as a core technology.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own requirements gathering by working directly with business stakeholders without heavy guidance.
• Implement test-driven development and participate in regular source code reviews.
• Maintain change control standards to ensure compliance with internal policies.
• Troubleshoot complex technical problems and influence stakeholders to reach consensus on project decisions.
• Deliver software solutions under tight deadlines.

Required Skills

• 2-3 years of recent experience in Python, Java, or SQL.
• Proficiency with Mendix, Python, and SQL.
• Experience with AWS services including Cloud9 IDE, EC2, Lambda, Redshift, Aurora, and Secret Manager.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently on business requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Mendix Rapid Application Developer certification.
• 2-5 years of experience in financial services with knowledge of Trusts or Re-insurance.
• Familiarity with React UI framework and UX improvement skills.
