Description

You will act as the primary MS SQL Server expert, supporting application development teams through database design, implementation, and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, configure, and maintain DBMS environments across Windows and Linux.
• Optimize databases for highly concurrent and highly transactional application workloads.
• Implement database security controls to safeguard organizational data.
• Build automation and self-service tools using PowerShell to reduce manual processing.
• Manage database infrastructure globally, including capacity planning and production support.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database design, replication, and stored procedures.
• Expertise in SQL performance tuning and evaluating queries for enhancement.
• Deep knowledge of Always On Availability Groups and Clustering.
• Experience configuring and monitoring SQL Server replication with complex patterns.
• Proven track record managing highly transactional systems.
• Experience migrating SQL Servers from on-premise to Cloud environments, specifically AWS.
• Proficiency with MS SQL Server, RDBMS, and Windows/Linux operating systems.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an Engineering field.
