Description

You will build and maintain complex business intelligence solutions using MicroStrategy.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle development process, including analysis, design, development, and testing.
• Design semantic layers for large data warehouse projects.
• Develop MicroStrategy Schema and application objects like logical tables, attributes, facts, and hierarchies.
• Collaborate with business teams to define reports, dossiers, and dashboards meeting complex needs.
• Tune report performance using VLDB Properties and work with architects on schema reviews.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of MicroStrategy development experience or equivalent.
• Strong SQL skills capable of creating simple to complex schema objects.
• Experience with MicroStrategy components (Architect, Desktop, Web, Office, Narrowcast, Distribution).
• Proficiency in dimensional data modelling (Star/Snowflake).
• Experience with Teradata, Postgres, Oracle DBs, and SQL Server.
• Ability to develop complex reports using advanced filters, level metrics, and transformation/rolling metrics.
• Understanding of common data warehousing methodology and architecture.
