Description

You will develop and maintain enterprise-level business intelligence solutions using MicroStrategy.

Responsibilities

• Own the full life cycle development, including analysis, design, development, and testing.
• Design semantic layers for large data warehouse projects and create MicroStrategy schema and application objects.
• Develop complex reports, dashboards, and dossiers by engaging with business teams to define solutions.
• Perform performance tuning on various reports utilizing VLDB Properties.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and data analysts to review reporting schemas for optimal BI performance.

Required Skills

• Minimum 10+ years of MicroStrategy development experience.
• Strong SQL skills, capable of writing simple to complex schema objects.
• Experience with MicroStrategy components: MSTR Architect, Desktop Developer, Web, MSTR Office, Narrowcast, and Distribution services.
• Proficiency in dimensional data modelling (Star/Snowflake).
• Experience with SQL Server, Teradata, Postgres, or Oracle DBs.
• Ability to work with logical data models and various hierarchies in MicroStrategy.
• Expertise in creating complex reports using advanced filters, level metrics, and rolling metrics.
• Understanding of data warehousing methodology and architecture.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
