Description

Lead end-to-end development for complex business intelligence solutions.

Design and implement semantic layers, including logical tables, attributes, facts, hierarchies, and metrics. Develop MicroStrategy Cubes, Dossiers, Web Mobile Dashboards, and advanced reports using level metrics and rolling metrics. Optimize reporting schemas for performance and tune reports using VLDB properties. Collaborate with architects and data analysts to review requirements and define reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement semantic layers, including logical tables, attributes, facts, hierarchies, and metrics.
• Develop MicroStrategy Cubes, Dossiers, Web Mobile Dashboards, and advanced reports using level metrics and rolling metrics.
• Optimize reporting schemas for performance and tune reports using VLDB properties.
• Collaborate with architects and data analysts to review requirements and define reporting solutions.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of MicroStrategy development experience.
• Hands-on experience with MicroStrategy Architect, Desktop, Developer, Web, Office, Narrowcast, and Distribution services.
• Strong SQL skills with ability to read and troubleshoot queries in Teradata, Postgres, or Oracle.
• Expertise in Star and Snowflake dimensional data modeling and data warehousing methodologies.
• Proficiency in creating complex schema objects, custom groups, consolidations, and pass-through functions.
• Experience working with logical data models and various hierarchy types.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
