Description

You will lead the design, development, and delivery of Connected Car mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead iOS and Android developers and manage mobile app operations and new business initiatives.
• Translate functional requirements into technical solutions and guide the full app lifecycle from concept to App Store/Marketplace deployment.
• Collaborate with frontend, backend, and third-party teams to build usable interfaces and standardize platforms across multiple brands.
• Review and optimize mobile app performance and remediate security vulnerabilities identified in penetration testing reports.
• Partner with Quality divisions to triage app issues and manage Vehicle Quality Gate Events for new vehicle platforms.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience with a focus on object-oriented principles.
• 10+ years of mobile application development for both Android and iOS.
• 5+ years of experience architecting, designing, and developing iOS mobile applications.
• Expert knowledge of Swift, Objective-C, and Java.
• Extensive experience in native mobile development and mobile architecture patterns including MVC, MVP, and MVVM.
• Proven track record of building, launching, and maintaining large-scale products.
• 5+ years of experience with web service integration using REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML.
• Experience implementing unit tests with XCTest and JUnit.
• Experience releasing multiple applications into the App Store.
• Proficiency with analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics or Google Firebase.
• Knowledge of Singleton and Service Integration patterns.

Preferred Skills

• Connected Car, Automotive, or IoT industry experience.
• Experience with mobile app legacy code migration.
