Description

Lead the design, development, and delivery of Connected Car mobile applications for iOS and Android. Own the full app lifecycle from concept to App Store deployment while managing operations and new business initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead iOS and Android developers and standardize platforms across multiple brands.
• Translate functional requirements into technical solutions and guide release pipelines.
• Collaborate with frontend, backend, and third-party teams to build usable interfaces.
• Review and optimize mobile app performance and remediate security vulnerabilities from penetration tests.
• Partner with Quality divisions to triage app issues and manage Vehicle Quality Gate Events.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience with a focus on object-oriented principles.
• 10+ years of mobile application development for both Android and iOS.
• 5+ years of experience architecting, designing, and developing iOS mobile applications.
• Expert knowledge of Swift, Objective-C, and Java.
• Extensive experience in native mobile development and mobile architecture patterns including MVC, MVP, and MVVM.
• Proven track record of building, launching, and maintaining large-scale products.
• 5+ years of experience with web service integration using REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML.
• Experience implementing unit tests with XCTest and JUnit.
• Experience releasing multiple applications into the App Store.

Preferred Skills

• Connected Car, Automotive, or IoT industry experience.
• Experience with mobile app legacy code migration.
