Description

You will bridge the gap between business, application development, support, and monitoring tool teams to ensure application health and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the rollout of Splunk and Dynatrace across banking client applications.
• Design and implement monitoring solutions for applications on cloud and containerized infrastructure.
• Act as a subject matter expert for monitoring tools, providing demos, training, and documentation.
• Collaborate with client teams on deployment planning, scheduling, and event/dashboard configuration.
• Prepare reports on tool adoption and participate in global monitoring strategy discussions.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience with Splunk and Dynatrace.
• 5+ years of experience architecting or supporting production systems.
• 2+ years of experience in development or architecture for multi-tiered business applications.
• Proficiency in Java and/or .NET.
• Deep understanding of software stacks, application architecture, and N-Tier architectures (Webserver, Middleware, Database).
• Experience monitoring applications on cloud and containerized infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Windows/Unix OS infrastructure services and shell scripting.
• Experience with application, network, and availability performance monitoring.
• Degree from a 4-year college.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams.
• Prior experience in development or support of banking applications.
• Experience with Major Incident Management.
