Description

You will lead the migration and modernization of legacy .NET applications into a modular Azure platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing .NET applications to identify integration points for modernization.
• Refactor legacy code into a modular, plug-in driven architecture on Azure.
• Implement Azure services including App Services, Functions, and Service Bus to replace application components.
• Collaborate with architects and DevOps to deploy CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
• Troubleshoot performance and integration issues across cloud and hybrid environments.

Required Skills

• 14+ years of total professional software development experience.
• Expertise in C# and .NET (Framework and Core) for enterprise-scale applications.
• Deep experience with Microsoft Azure services: App Services, Functions, Storage, Service Bus, and Key Vault.
• Proven track record of refactoring legacy applications for cloud readiness.
• Strong knowledge of modular and plug-in architecture patterns.
• Proficiency in REST API development, asynchronous programming, and dependency injection.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using ARM, Bicep, or Terraform.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
