Description

You will design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET while modernizing legacy VB6 systems and deploying to Microsoft Azure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure applications on Microsoft Azure, including App Services, Storage Accounts, and Key Vaults.
• Modernize and integrate legacy VB6 applications with current .NET systems.
• Write efficient SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and optimize database performance.
• Build and maintain front-end components using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Adhere to OOP principles, SDLC methodologies, and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience as a .NET Developer.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Visual Basic 6 (VB6).
• Strong development experience in C# and VB within the .NET framework.
• Solid experience with Microsoft Azure services and configurations.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Advanced knowledge of web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Strong experience with SQL Server and complex query writing.
• Proficiency in GitHub or similar version control systems.
