Description

You will lead development and architecture for .NET and SQL-based projects, driving modernization of legacy systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Refactor and reengineer SOA modules to meet business specifications and programming standards.
• Engineer existing WCF Windows services to utilize gRPC and introduce WebAPI, replacing legacy REST API calls.
• Reengineer existing XBAP UI to the Angular framework.
• Introduce container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes) and microservices into the existing DevOps infrastructure for scaling.
• Review and provide architecture design for assigned projects covering development, testing, and deployment.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software development and system architecture with Microsoft technologies.
• Expert knowledge of .NET Core and .NET Standard.
• Expert working knowledge of Threading and solid experience converting .NET Framework multi-threaded services into .NET Core.
• Expert knowledge of WebAPI development and scalability discussions.
• Experience converting WCF Windows services to Microservices using gRPC.
• Expert knowledge of Angular and JavaScript.
• Experience implementing container orchestration for microservices management.
• Detailed working knowledge of Database design and SQL development tuning.
