Description

You will lead the migration of a legacy PowerBuilder system to a modern ASP.NET MVC architecture. You will work under the direction of the Technical Lead and Software Architect to convert existing modules and extract business logic.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement backend processing systems using N-Tier .NET web applications.
• Write complex VB.NET code and perform unit testing to resolve identified bugs.
• Create complex stored procedures, triggers, and packages in Oracle using PL/SQL.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to analyze requirements and perform logical design.
• Extract business rules from existing Oracle packages and stored procedures.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional software development experience.
• 7 years (84 months) of experience developing N-Tier .NET web applications.
• 7 years (84 months) of experience developing packages, stored procedures, and triggers in Oracle.
• 7 years (84 months) of experience extracting business logic from Oracle packages.
• 5 years (60 months) of experience utilizing SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• 3 years (36 months) of experience utilizing jQuery.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
