Description

Lead data migration efforts for financial systems, ensuring data integrity through robust C# .NET and SQL Server solutions. You will design and maintain data pipelines using AWS technologies and collaborate with offshore teams to deliver projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data migration solutions using C# .NET and SQL Server.
• Build and manage data pipelines utilizing AWS Athena, Glue, PySpark, Scala, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Airflow.
• Review, debug, and optimize migration scripts written in .NET C# and T-SQL.
• Collaborate with financial teams to incorporate reconciliation requirements into migration processes.
• Lead offshore teams across different time zones and coordinate with project managers.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on data migration.
• Proficiency in C# .NET and SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with AWS data technologies: Athena, Glue, PySpark, Scala, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Airflow.
• Expertise in writing and optimizing T-SQL scripts.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting.
• In-depth understanding of financial reconciliation processes.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven ability to analyze system behaviors and implement corrective measures for data discrepancies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in financial services or Ecommerce, specifically regarding GL and transaction reconciliations.
• Knowledge of data protection and privacy regulations.
