Description

You will manage software support and lead the modernization of legacy systems for the DMV Systems Unit.

Responsibilities

• Lead the rewrite of the FuelTaCS application using C#.
• Support the legacy FuelTaCS application and manage its maintenance.
• Manage software development lifecycles including analysis, design, coding, testing, and debugging.
• Provide technical support for production applications including MILES, LECMS, and the Scrap Yard System.
• Lead software projects from implementation through documentation.

Required Skills

• 25+ years of IT work and management experience.
• 20 years of experience with C++.
• 20 years of experience with SQL and DB/2.
• 10 years of experience with .NET and C#.
• Extensive experience with MQ middleware.
• Proficiency in .NET Framework and Windows Forms.
• Strong knowledge of XML and Object-Oriented Analysis.
• Experience with Joint Application Development (JAD) and version control.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting FuelTaCS or MILES applications.
