Description

You will manage the configuration, installation, and monitoring of network systems including LAN, WAN, VoIP, and wireless access systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Layer 2/3 physical and virtual LAN/WAN, Campus, and Data Center networks.
• Administer DHCP servers, VLAN scopes, and static IP logs to ensure proper address management.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues, including intermittent packet loss, latency, and equipment failure.
• Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and respond to system alerts promptly.
• Coordinate network downtime with the Help Desk and provide Tier II/III escalation support.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network administration and maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco devices and hardware.
• Proficiency with SolarWinds for network monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of DHCP, VLAN, and LAN/WAN architectures.
• Experience troubleshooting wireless (WLAN) technologies and Internet connectivity.
• Ability to provide Tier II/III support for complex network service calls.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, CS, MIS, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification.
